I’ve been using SkinCeuticals LHA Cleanser Gel & I just found out I’m 7 weeks pregnant. How concerned should I be?

I’ve been using SkinCeuticals LHA Cleanser Gel for a year & I just found out I’m 7 weeks pregnant. I’m freaking out since this product is listed as something you should not use while pregnant. I’m not using it now that I know, but I'm worried I’ve hurt my baby. Can someone please shed some light on how concerned I should or shouldn’t be about this since I’ve been using this product for 7 weeks of my pregnancy?

Yes, Skinceuticals triple lipid restore 2:4:2 is safe and beneficial to use during pregnancy! The only Skinceuticals products contraindicated with pregnancy are: silymarin cf, blemish and age, retinol, LHA cleanser, LHA toner.

Yes, you may use Tri-Luma in the evening for pigmentation problems. However, this is not a product that I would suggest for long-term use.  Use at night for about 3 months and then discontinue.  Over a long period of time topical steroid use can thin the skin.
