Does electrolysis (thermolysis modality) increase the risk of melanoma?

Recent studies have stated that it’s possible for some Malenomas to start in the hair follicle. I’ve tried laser hair removal in the past, but it actually made me harrier in certain areas (upper arms and upper back). I’d like to try electrolysis (thermolysis modality) but cannot find anything online about its long term safety, specifically regarding cancer risk. Thermolysis uses short wave (radio wave) thermal energy to heat up the hair follicle. Any feedback or studies to share on this?
