I’ve had pseudofolliculitis barbae and ingrown hairs for over a year now. I am using: topical antibiotics (clindamycin phosphate) for over four months, oral doxycycline (anti-inflammatory) for two months, 0.05% topical tretinoin and steroid injections. I’ve stopped waxing the area (which caused this problem) and regularly exfoliate. Laser is not an option because I’m a redhead. Is electrolysis hair removal the only possible treatment? Would Accutane help clear the area? Thank you.
