Is it safe to take Adderall prior to general anesthesia for breast augmentation?

Every surgeon and anesthesiologist will have their own surgical protocol they develop. Therefore nobody here can tell you whether you will need to stop or not when having surgery with someone outside of their practice. That said, my personal protocol is to stop all medications 2 weeks prior to surgery as to not interfere with the administering of your general anesthesia.

In general, we have you stop medications like Adderall, because they can interfere with the general anesthesia used during your surgery.

In surgery your safety is the number one priority. It is important that you discuss all medications that you take with your surgeon. This includes prescription, over the counter, and recreational medications as well as supplements. Your surgeon will advise which are okay to continue and which need to be stopped.

No, you need to stop this 2 weeks prior to surgery due to the risks of problems with your blood pressure during surgery. Please discuss this with your surgeon.
