Would a submentalplasty or lower deep plane lift help with severe tethering of the neck and tight feeling? (photos)

2 years ago had uneventful SMAS face and neck lift. 2 months after had tethering of the front of neck and neck band protruding and very tight. both uncomfortable. massage, kenalog, botox and ultherapy did not help. surgeon suggests submentalplasty under local in the office. 2nd opinion recommends. lower deep plane face and neck lift. will either of these make worse? success rate? Is there any real difference between these procedures for successful outcome?

A small acoustic neuroma will require ongoing observation to determine if surgery is ever required. However, it should have no bearing on planning for a facelift. It should be included as part of the discussion of your medical history, but will not change the approach to the procedure.

Pixie ears are simple to correct. But the surgeon has to know how. That being said it would help to have photos to evaluate. I have many pictures I show patients on how to repair pixie earlobes
