I love how I look except for my nose. It droops, is large, and doesn't fit my face. I'm really debating getting a nose job but I'm worried that it will change the whole look of my face. Will it still look like me?
Answer: Rhinoplasty Fortunately for you, many different variations of rhinoplasty are possible depending on what your goals are. I generally prefer to maintain some of the individual features of the nose while making changes that will improve the overall harmony and aesthetic of the nose. I would recommend a consultation with a surgeon that performs large numbers of rhinoplasty surgery, and with proper communication, I think your goals will be able to be achieved. Good luck! Attached is more information on rhinoplasty.

Answer: Conservative rhinoplasty A conservative rhinoplasty that makes your nose better match your natural facial features would accomplish your goals and would allow you to still look like yourself.

Answer: Conservative rhinoplasty can leave your face looking natural but with the improvements you seek. Hello zgirl1o1,Thanks for your question.A specialist in rhinoplasty can skillfully make surgical changes to your nose that will leave it looking like you were born to have that new nose. Proportional changes are the best way to go, as they provide a natural outcome. I would suggest that you seek out a consultation with a Rhinoplasty specialist in your area to take a look at their work, try out some simulations, and understand what procedure would help your nose best.Good luck,Dr. Shah

Answer: Rhinoplasty for a smaller and more refined, feminine nose. A conservative rhinoplasty with hump removal, refinement of your tip, possible narrowing of the nasal base etc. will give you a more attractive than feminine looking nose. It will not greatly alter your appearance but will make you look more attractive

Answer: Would I look too different after a nose job? The areas that you described and would like improved can be addressed with a subtle natural appearing rhinoplasty performed by an expert artistic plastic surgeon with extensive rhinoplasty experience. No one ever "needs" a rhinoplasty. It is an elective procedure and only you can determine if your nasal features concern you enough to do something about improving the cosmetic appearance of your nose and whether it would be worthwhile. Keep in mind, that following the advice from a surgeon on this or any other website who proposes to tell you what to do based on limited 2 dimensional photos without examining you, physically feeling the tissue, assessing your desired outcome, taking a full medical history, and discussing the pros and cons of the proposed operative procedure with you and your parents may not be in your best interest. I would suggest you find a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery and ideally a member of the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS) or facial plastic surgeon (otolaryngologist) that you trust and are comfortable with. You should discuss your concerns with that surgeon in person. Additional information about the procedure will help you decide if it is a procedure that you want to pursue.
