I have some loose skin on my lower face and neck and am trying to decide between FaceTite and J-Plasma. Do they have comparable tightening? Can this be combined with micro lipo?
Answer: Both RF, slightly different tissue responses Hello! Thanks for your question. As a long time user of radiofrequency technologies I use both JPlasma and FaceTite, sometimes combining the two. Generally, and this is most commonly a per patient case, I use the FaceTite on heavier or fattier tissue, frequently in combination with liposuction. I use the JPlasma (subdermally, not for resurfacing) on patients with thinner, more crepey skin where laxity is the predominant issue. I tend to be able to get more directional shaping with the FaceTite, and more overall, immediate, skin contraction with JPlasma. Hope this helps!

Answer: Skin Tightening Thank you for your questionHow much skin tightening can be expected from J-Plasma depends, everyones body is different. This depends on how loose your skin is and how your skin is set up. We're talking millimeters of tightening per centimeter square. So it's not equivlent to cutting it out. However it is the best tightening we have to date out of all the tightening devices. It can be done in surgery. Some treatments have to be done on top of the skin while you’re awake so you have to tolerate the heat and discomfort and heat and so that limits it but this is done while you’re asleep so then you can really get a good treatment. For any additional information reach out to your providerBest wishes

Answer: Both are radiofrequency procedures J plasma uses cold helium to minimize trauma to the surrounding tissue while the RF(radiofrequency )technology tightens skin and stimulates collagen.Facetite uses bipolar RF which means that one probe is outside the skin and the other parallel probe is just under the skin. This allows the RF to remove fat cells as well,so its a more effective technique.A technician can perform J plasma, but a physician has to perform Facetite

Answer: J-Plasma (Renuvion) versus FaceTite Thank you for your question. Both of these devices are energy based treatments used for tightening the skin. It is not possible to tell you which treatment would be best for you without an in-person consultation. FaceTite by InMode is a minimally invasive device that utilizes radio-frequency energy to destroy fat and tighten the skin. J-Plasma, now called Renuvion, can be used to resurface the skin on the face but it is recommended that it only be used beneath the skin (sub-dermal) on the neck. Renuvion skin rejuvenation of the face can yield amazing results but there will be significant downtime. Either of these devices can be used in a minimally invasive fashion on the neck with micro-lipo. I suggest an in-person consultation with a facial sculpting expert in your area. For examples of Renuvion skin rejuvenation you can visit my RealSelf profile page to view before and after photos.I hope this was helpful - Dr. Moore.
