I recommend waiting at least 3 weeks to allow the skin to heal well. Healing takes longer than what meets the eye since the body continues to remodel and exchange collagen types over many months. In studying wounds, we have found the full healing process happens over a year for full-thickness incisions. Microneedling causes superficial, punctate wounds. There is healthy tissue in between affected areas. These factors lead to a faster healing process, but it still requires time.
