There are huge differences in composite vs porcelain veneers, but the lab fees vary by region. I'll outline them below.Porcelain veneers are: highly stain resistant, very durable, can last you 20 years without breaking, you can select from several different shades, they function like real teeth, they are a permanent solution; more expensive.Composite veneers are: easily stained, not very strong, last days to possibly a few years (depending on where they are in the mouth), shade options are limited, don't really function with the strength of real teeth, are a temporary solution; much less expensive.Good luck and I hope this helps.
