Are there any new techniques to "re-grow" enamel if I wanted my veneers removed?

I always regretted having done them (it was a completely unnecessary procedure in my case) I've had them for 13 years and hate to see the wear on the top margins when I go for a cleaning which is very hard to clean. Thanks

Unfortunately, regrowing enamel would only be possible through the use of stem cells, which is still considered experimental at this time.  I would recommend getting your veneers redone, if you feel that they may be unsightly for you.  Placing composite fillings at the top of the veneers is only a temporary fix and usually only makes the situation worse, because composite stains very easily.  Good luck and I hope this helps. Enamel ( the outer layer of the tooth) can not be regrown as of 2015. I am hoping with the stem cell technology, your request will be manifested.Porcelain veneers is an irreversible procedure, once the tooth is cut there is no way to add back enamel, same goes for the next layer which is the dentin of the tooth.Since it sounds like you had gum recession, there is a technique that the root can be bonded and joined to porcelain veneer, it will take any sensitivity out, and the dark root color, however there is possibility of staining!Some patients elect to do that in one visit rather than redoing their veneers. The other option is to remove the veneers and prepare to the gum line, and making new porcelain veneers.No matter which you elect or choose, bear in mind that your teeth will look longer depending on your smile line!The tooth abfractions on your dental veneers must be treated, before you get cavities, which can make the treatment more difficult.

Unfortunately, there is not a way to have the veneers removed and regrow new enamel.  You may have gum recession causing the margins to show and accumulate stain.  Have your dentist take a look and make some recommendations to help alleviate your concerns.  Good luck.

sorry, that is not possible, teeth are the only part of human body which never regrow. so only option for u is go for reveneering.
