I have drooping eyelid. Should I see a doctor and if so which? (photos)

For the past few years I've been noticing a drooping left eyelid when I'm tired. I want to know if you see it. I do feel like it is affecting my vision and at times I have to focus in keeping my left eyelid open. I started blinking just from that eye as well I have no issues wih my right eye even when tired. I did get into a fight a few years ago and was punched with a ring in my forehead right above that eye. Should I see a doctor and if so which? I also been told to have sad eyes

From your photo, it does appear that you may have some ptosis on the one eyelid.  You have been trying to compensate for this by raising the eyebrow, which causes the higher brow on that side.  This is a condition which can normally be corrected with surgery.  I would recommend seeing an oculoplastic surgeon.

Hi. You have unilateral eye lid ptosis ( blepharoptosis) or droopy eyelid. You should bee seen by an occuloplastic surgeon specializing in eyelid recostruction. Thank you for the picture. You have upper eyelid ptosis. This means drooping. I would see a board-certified oculoplastic surgeon or a board-certified plastic surgeon for evaluation and treatment.

you have a ptosis of the right upper eyelid - at least in this picture.  Trauma around the eye can cause bruising and swelling of the upper lid.  When this occurs the levator muscle in that eye may be stretched, and can fatigue more readily.  This can be fixed with a ptosis repair surgery.  Find an oculoplastic surgeon in your area to help decide which surgery would be best for you:  go to ASOPRS.org to find someone.

If your vision is being affected,especially progressively or intermittently worsening you should consult an ophthalmologist or a neurologist. This is much more significant than any cosmetic ptosis in a young man. There may be a neurologic pathology such as MS or a cranial nerve pathology that needs to be medically evaluated and ruled out before addressing any cosmetic issues.
