Can I Have Laser Hair Removal Done Near/over Scars from Surgery?

Asked By:kellylynn0815 in Hollywood, CA

I had a tummy tuck in April and thigh lift in June. I LOVE the results, but the hair between those two areas ;) is now further across and higher than before. My PS did a great job minimizing it but wondering about laser hair removal to clean it up some but the lasering will be right up to and likely over the scar line. Will the laser hurt the scar or cause it to darken? When would be ok? Since the scar is darker, will it be more painful when zapped? Thanks!!!
