Regret After 1 LHR: How Long Until I Know How Much Hair I Have Been Left with?

I regretted having had a brazilian with laser. Only had one session (white skin, dark hair - Soprano machine). It's been 8 weeks. I am barely seeing hairs. At the moment very few, sparse hairs but they are thin; also small patches with smooth skin. Can hair grow from those patches? I have read that pubic hair has a 6 month cycle, so in 6 months time will I have a real "picture" of the amount of hairs I have been left with? Is a "bush" still possible ? hair density ? hair length?

Most patients would be happy to have had such a great result. Don't worry, to see full correction from laser hair removal you would need a series of 6-8 treatments total. It may take some time but your hair will fully grow back.

Thank you for your question. I am sorry to hear you are dissatisfied with your laser hair removal treatment. It sounds like you are an ideal candidate, and that the treatment worked well. You will need to do a series in order to see the full results from this procedure because hair grows in cycles and cannot all be removed in one session. If you have changed your mind about the treatment and are wanting the hairs to come back it is going to take some time. You may always have one growth cycle that is more sparse than others but over time the areas should fill in. This can take about 6 months or so.
