Flat head syndrome (brachycephaly/plagiocephaly/widened temples) solutions? (Photo)

I was recently diagnosed with flat head syndrome and I believe this to be the result of spending too much time sleeping on my back as a baby, thus deforming the skull. My issue with this is that my temples and forehead are too wide, making my jaw look smaller and giving my skull a lightbulb like shape. My head shape resembles that of the man on the right pic I linked. Could temporalis muscle reduction fix my excessively wide forehead and what else could be done to improve the shape?
