Thank you for your question. You need to ask your PS for clearance about naproxen. Usually I recommend not to take these type of meds for about 2 weeks. Good Luck
Greetings,The use of naproxen and other drugs in the NSAID family (i.e. motrin, aspirin and others) after breast enlargement surgery need to be cleared by your plastic surgeon. The risk of bleeding is real since all of these drugs impair platelet function (clotting).I have not seen late bleeding in my patients and they are discouraged to use NSAID pain meds until after 3-4 weeks.Best Regards,
