Morpheus 8 is a non-invasive skin and soft tissue tightening treatment that is consistently amazing in our patients. We use the Morpheus to exact fractional induced RF into the skin or tissue in order to tighten collagen and stimulate contraction of the tissue. For acne scars, it is quite useful to build collagen in patients who have atrophic scars but is not very productive for ice-pick scars which require TCA Cross. For tissue tightening, Morpheus is ideal for the face and neck and we often combine it with CO2 laser or Ultherapy to further enhance results. Chemical peels and skin resurfacing should be done at least 5 to 7 days after, but can be performed earlier, depending on treatment severity. Avoid exfoliating skin treatments before Morpheus and expect a period of 2-4 weeks for skin contraction to set in. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Realself100 Surgeon
Thank you for your question, Fraxel and/or Co2 are best for resurfacing, but erbium is a good alternative. I always combine lasers with microneedling/(RF)prp for more robust outcomes. For skin tightening, I recommend a combination of ultherapy with RF treatments and sculptra for skin tightening. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist. Also, check out my new line of Emerage Cosmetics, it has at home kits that you can do from the comfort of your own home. Best, Dr. Emer
If skin tightening is your goal then neither a blue peel or CO2 laser would be the best option as these are primarily to skin tone, texture, and wrinkles. For tightening, FaceTite would offer much more benefit.
These are both very different treatments. The CO2RE laser is capable of more dramatic results but will also require more downtime than the Obagi Blue Peel. It is extremely important that if you do decide on the CO2RE laser, that you only go to somebody who is very experienced in operating this powerful device. Best of luck
