Hidradenitis suppurativa & BBL?

Surgery from hidradenitis varies from small office-based procedures to heroic efforts requiring weeks in the hospital.
The surgery for this refers there’s no way we can make a timeframe for healing.
Plastic surgeons will have different views in regards to moving forward with a BBL in patients with HS.
nobody is going to recommend elective surgery with a patient who has serious active infection.
While small outbreaks may put you in a slightly higher risk for having complications from a BBL the risk may not be terribly different than those without this condition.
HS can be very frustrating and patients who have it suffer more than people understand.
How both HS itself  and the in treatment approached and how patients with this condition are treated for a BBL will vary among different providers.
In regards to recovery from the HS surgery I suggest talking to the surgeon who’s helping you with that condition.
