Thank you for yourquestion.Slight redness is to be expected post laser treatment. It is important to avoid sun exposure before and after treatments as well. I recommend following up with the provider who performed your service to discuss any concerns you may have along with additional post-care instructions. To be sure, see twoor more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation tomake sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to havetreatment.I hope this helps.

The redness from laser resurfacing can last for quite some time. Hopefully, your doctor informed you of this possibility. Usually, I find that it fades over two months, depending on the depth achieved, but it can last 6-12 months and persist with facial flushing. I hope it improves for you soon.
Dear LeslieCZ,During the first fewhours and days after the procedure, there isusually mild burning and discomfort, which feels much like a sunburn. Oralpainkillers and ice packs help control the discomfort. Please schedule a follow-up appointment with your board certified facial plastic surgeon surgeon.
If the area is still red, you should speak to your physician. Most redness is improved by this time in my practice with vascular lasers. Best, Dr. Emer.
The redness should have resolved itself by now. Contact your physician so he can check your progress.
Sorry to hear that you are continuing to have some redness after your laser treatment. Would contact your physician to re-evaluate. The redness should have resolved since your treatment was two weeks ago.

I would prep the skin with Exfolase and Luminase followed by laser skin resurfacing with Clear and Brilliant. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian#Realself100 Surgeon

Hypopigmentation can be partially corrected in some cases with fractional co2 laser. The process accelerates post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation. Best, Dr. Karamanoukian Los Angeles
