I take prednisolone, a blood pressure tablet and MMF for kidney disease. Would you advise I still get Juvederm lip filler?

I am booked in to get lip fillers done at a place local to me, however I take a low dose prednisolone, a blood pressure tablet and MMF due to kidney disease. I feel well in myself, would you advise I still get this treatment even though I take these medications? Thank you

It should be fine for you to proceed with your Juvederm treatment.  It is important for you to discuss your medical history and all medications that you take with your injector prior to treatment.

It is generally safe to have hyaluronic acid injections whilst on the medication mentioned. However, make sure you have the procedure carried out by a Consultant Dermatologist or Plastic surgeon and not just a cosmetic physician. This is important in order for them to properly assess your skin prior the procedure, and address any individual needs linked with your medical background.
