Why do my eyelids look weird in the morning? Is there a treatment? (Photo)

Lately I’ve been noticing my eyelids look weird when I wake up.. I have been doing research on it but there is no results . I’m worried this is probably permanent for my eyes. If there is treatment and you let me know ?

Because eyelid structure is dynamic, it is difficult to tell what is "weird" in your photos other than the asymmetry of lid margin position.  If this is apparent only in the mornings, we would ask you photograph both eyelids at various times of the day to determine how they are changing during waking hours.  The morning asymmetry could be due to a preference sleeping on one side.  Best to consult with a board certified plastic, ophthalmologist, or oculoplastic surgeon with more photos with varying angles of gaze..

Aloha and Mahalo for your question. It's very common/normal for eyes to have slightly different size/shape when waking up in the morning. While it's possible that it just brought your attention to something that was always there, but you hadn't noticed it before. It's hard to tell from the photos, but it's not clear that surgery would be helpful at this time. I would recommend you see an experienced Surgeon Certified by The American Board Of Plastic Surgery[ABPS] and a member of The American Society of Plastic Surgeons (ASPS) for an in-depth consultation to review your options. Mahalo, Dr D

You appear to have significant ptosis. This is fixable. You need to see a plastic or occuloplastic surgeon who specializes in ptosis.
