Radiesse after partial dentures. Should I delay the filler treatment?

Hello, I had a question, i had a teeth extractions3 weeks ago (2 teeth lower jaw) , i am gonna have partial dentures on 3 July, i also have a radiesse treatment on 5 july, is this a problem? Should i delay the filler treatment? Kind regards

It is generally recommended to wait for at least 2-3 weeks after dental extractions before having any facial filler treatments, as the gums and bone need time to heal and any inflammation or swelling in the area can potentially affect the results of the filler treatment.

Since you had the extractions three weeks ago, you may be able to proceed with the Radiesse treatment on July 5th as long as your dentist has cleared you for the treatment and there are no signs of infection or inflammation in the extraction site.

However, it is always best to consult with your dentist and the provider performing the Radiesse treatment to make sure it is safe to proceed. They can evaluate your individual situation and advise you on the best course of action based on your specific needs and medical history.

You will want to ensure that your dental work is complete and that swelling has resolved before considering facial fillers.  This will help your injector to optimize your results.
