Sutures removed and incision reopened. Will it hurt to put steri strip on now that drainage has slowed down? (Photos)

I had a 360 belt lipectomy on Dec 27th. The Dr put in external stitches along right hip to hold better because he said I was pulled tight there. He removed them 10 days post op and it reopened in office. He held pressure and bandaged me. He didn't want sterile strip on because wanting it to drain. Told me to keep bandage on and it would stay wet with fluid. Leave it on to shower then change after I shower. I go back in 5 days.
