Can I use a low set heating pad to move edema in the lower ab and pubic region? (photo)

I seen some concern with seroma in tt patient. When I had my drain tube in and used a heating pad for 15 min it helped move the clear fluids and waste through the tubing. So far 11 days post op and increase swelling in pelvic and pubic area
