I have drains, seroma, aspirations, air. Any suggestions?

So after I lost both JP drains early follow my mommy makeover, I developed two seromas. One at my incision, one in my upper abdomen above my belly button between my breasts. My PS drained away fluid yesterday and placed a make shift drain like reverse type of IV catheter placed in inguinal area. It's been draining steadily. The lower seroma has subsided but now I feel like air bubbles popping and crackling at my incision when I walk or press on it. Dangerous????

Sorry to hear of your concerns.   The issue with the bubbles is related to the fact that your drain tube is not connected to a suction bulb most likely.   If this does not resolve quickly, I would give consideration to having your drains replaced in an outpatient surgery to speed up your healing process.   All the best.

It doesn't sound dangerous, but.......If a drain has to be reinserted, then the type that was used normally is put to suction drainage.  If the suction is being maintained, then you shouldn't get air bubbles under your tissue and hear popping. If it is an open system, then air can get in.  In the absence of any fever, redness nor foul smelling drainage, I would doubt that there are any gas forming bacteria present.  Please address your concerns with your surgeon.
