Still have several hard knots after SculpSure and it’s been five weeks since second treatment. Is this normal?

It is possible to develop some nodules that you can feel after a SculpSure treatment.  These normally resolve completely over time, but sometimes it can take several months for this to occur.  Make sure you follow up with the physician who treated you so that your progress can be monitored.  

Thank you for your question. I can assure you that is a perfectly normal an don need to worry about any scar tissue. SculpSure does not cause internal scar tissue. The treatments sounds like it was intimately performed and it may take weeks to months for the nodules to go away. Just be patient and keep massaging and staying hydrated.  Hope this helps. This is a perfectly normal side effect from SculpSure and will resolve.  It is hard to so when they will go away but you are doing the right thing by massaging several times a day.  It is not scar tissue. The fat cell has not completely deteriorated as of yet but it will.

Yes, this can be typical.  It can take 3-6 months for final results. I suggest lymphatic massage, hyperbaric oxygen, and RF treatments like venus legacy to help reduce any swelling. To improve your final results, I also recommend adding vanquish for further fat removal, exilis/venus legacy for skin tightening, cellutone/z wave to make the skin smooth, remove scar tissue, and improve the skin’s appearance. Knots or nodules are dead fat cells. It is not uncommon to see these at 5 weeks. Every individual is different. These are also dependent on the individuals water intake and how frequently you are massaging that area. These will eventually go away. 

Yes, nodules can persist after SculpSure treatments.  This seems true with my patients after they have had an extensive treatment.  I would expect that the results you will see once the nodules resolve will be favorable.  Please remember to follow up with your provider so your results can be monitored.

These nodules are fairly common and represent dying fat cells. they can be large or small and are self limited. They should resolve soon. The best thing to do is to massage them several times a day using a vibrating massager.

Yes, it is very common to have the nodules after SculpSure and they can last for several months. No need to worry. Keep massaging the areas at least twice a day, drink lots of water and continue exercising. Following SculpSure treatments you may experience nodules.  Nodules are fat cells that have been destroyed by the laser that have coalesced.  Massaging the nodules helps break them up.   Nodules can last for day to several months, depending on the size of the nodule.  They usually resolve on their own.  While uncommon, some nodules may be permanent.

Hi, Yes the nodules are normal in many patients post Sculpsure treatment. My staff and myself
