Still have several hard knots after SculpSure and it’s been five weeks since second treatment. Is this normal?

I had my 2nd treatment done on the front of my thighs about 5 weeks ago & I still have several hard knots on both legs. They were significantly swollen after the treatment, Way more than the first time. I massaged them several times a day & still continue to massage them but they do not seem to be going away, is this normal? Is this scar tissue? Does this mean the machine was too high for me? The procedure was painful but the #s were where she said they should be for optimal results.

Thank you for your question!  Since Sculpsure directly targets the subcutaneous fat, it will have no effect on your intrauterine device.  You can be very comfortable going forward with Sculpsure, knowing it is safe to do with an IUD in place.  Best wishes!

Thank you for your question. It should not affect the treatment if you had a small amount of wine to drink the night before. Wine may dehydrate you if had too much of it and it may prolong redness, swelling and bruising after treatment which are normal skin reaction. Make sure to drink lots...
