I was instructed to wash face with a soft microfiber cloth 4 x's a day a day after ablative CO2I was to remove all yellow oozing skin. Should I have been doing this? I don't think the treatment really did much for my face .

Each physician will have their own preference for care after a CO2 laser treatment.  These treatments can go to different depths of the skin, and the type of instructions for after care can be determined by the depth of the laser.  I would recommend following the instructions given to you by the physician who treated you.  It can take a few months to see the effects from a CO2 laser and sometimes, treatments can be repeated to give further improvement.
