Hi @Easygoing8583. I would recommend an in person evaluation to determine how many units are necessary. Typically, I recommend 64 units for a full correction which includes the forehead, frown lines, and crow's feet. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!
The answer is - it depends! On average, if you want to target the frown lines in combination with the horizontal forehead lines, you are looking at around 35-40 units of Botox. In most cities, you should be able to find a reputable clinic to do this for $10-11 per unit of Botox.
thanks for your questions, its a very common one. The first and most important thing, is that everyone is different. However, we know there are some standard doses that we use on people. I did a research study on this assessing both doses and comparisons of different types of medications, Similar to Botox. Take a look at the link below.
amounts depend on your movement and what look you are going for. I have all my patients on derma rolling who do botox for wrinkles.at home peels like cosmelan, enlighten and aerify along with dermarolling (MTS roller with anteage MD ampules weekly from emeragecosmetics.com see eye rolling package for weekly treatment) should be started now to prevent further aging. visit emeragecosmetics.com where we ship medical grade skincare all over the world AND do free virtual skincare consults daily. Proceeds benefit BLM and LGBTQ+ charities/organizations.For facial rejuvenation, I would suggest a combination approach of 1) skin care with products and PRP/microneedling2) PDT light therapy few times a month with growth factors3) laser treatments like clear and brilliant regularly and a few times a year Fraxel/halo Viva, Co2/Erbium4) Sculptra injections a few times a year for collagen production with fillers like juvederm/restylane/belotero/radiesse/bellafill5) thermage/ultherapy for yearly skin tightening with or without PDO or cone based instalift threads for lifting6) botox every 2-3 months to stop movement lines and prevent lines at rest7) deep microneedling RF like Fractora/morpheus8 for tightening of the skin8) Vascular laser like vbeam/excel V or BBL forever young treatment every quarter (3-4 months)Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for sharing your question. Starting patients can range from 8-15 units but there is dramatic variability based on muscle strength and degree or animation.
The amount of Botox needed to treat the forehead will vary by individual. It would be helpful to examine you to determine how many units might be needed for you. I would say the range could be between 10-30 units for most people.
Thank you for your question. Every person is difference and it would be easier to assess with a picture but generally patients respond very well from 10-15 units in the forehead. Occasionally I have to go closer to 20 but this is rare. I hope this helps!
The amount of Botox and the location of the injection sites varies from person to person and depends on your individual anatomy and muscle motion. You should meet with your facial plastic surgeon and develop a treatment plan based on both your anatomy and your goals.
This question will vary by patient. It depends how much movement you have, if you are wanting to address just the forehead or between the eyebrows as well. It is best to begin by visiting with a board certified plastic surgeon near you for a consultation.
Generally speaking, most patients require anywhere between 10-20 units in the forehead. This does not include the muscular area between the eyebrows (the 11's) which can take another 15-25 units. It is best to have an in-office evaluation to determine exactly what amount is needed to achieve your desired effect. Hope this helps!Johnson C. Lee, MDBoard-Certified Plastic Surgeon
