Thank you for your question. These treatments are a wonderful way to put the finishing touches on your surgical procedures. While a facelift and neck lift are very good at addressing skin laxity, they don’t offer much improvement in the quality of the skin overall. Injectables, lasers, and other procedures can restore your radiant glow. I would advise you to wait at least six weeks to give your skin ample time to heal before adding more treatments. However, your doctor can advise you more specifically. Make sure you are working with a board-certified dermatologist with extensive experience and training to ensure the best possible result.
Thank you for your question. In most cases, these treatments are completely safe after about six weeks, provided you don’t experience any unexpected side effects from your surgery. Make sure the person that performs your nonsurgical treatments has the same amount of experience and expertise as the plastic surgeon that performed your surgery to ensure an optimal outcome.
Hello, thank you for your question. I would recommend that you wait until your swelling has gone down. This can be up to 4-6 weeks post op.
Dear BeBE Galini,Thank you for your question. I usually perform Botox on my facelift patients if they want, 4-6 weeks after surgery. I use a similar time frame for lasers/facials (I have a strong CO2 laser) and have never had a healing issue. Of course, every surgeon feels differently about this issue and you should consult with your surgeon prior to proceeding with any other procedures.Hope this helps,Nirmal R. The soonest you can proceed with any of these modalities is one month. However it is always wise to consult with your surgeon first.
You can ask hundreds of surgeons, and you will probably get that many different answers. I see no time restriction on Botox, but would wait 6 weeks for intense facials and microneedling. My laser protocol is fairly aggressive, so I typically wait 3 months to allow proper healing. It is best to ask your surgeon for his opinion.

Hello and thank you for your question. I usually advise my patients to wait about 6 weeks before getting any treatments after a facelift. I would talk to your medical provider before getting any treatments. Best wishes.Dr. T
Usually you will want to wait 6 weeks after surgery before having other treatments. Your surgeon will be the best one to advise you based on the details of your procedure and how you are recovering from surgery.
Hello and thank you for your question. Our advice would be to wait until you have been signed off by your surgeon for having these treatments- If all goes well it would not be long to wait. Always seek an experienced and qualified practitioner, best wishes
Hello, thank you for your question. Fillers are typically a better choice to get around the mouth. An in-person consultation with a board-certified dermatologist would be needed to evaluate your concerns and come up with a custom treatment plan.
Hello and thank you for your question. In general Botox can be administered to patients with cancer and getting immunotherapy. I don’t suggest it if you’re getting chemo and your platelet count is low. I wish you the best.Dr. T
Hello and thanks for your question. Migration of botox happens quite quickly if you rub the area for example. We would warn patients to leave the area alone for 24hours to be safe of any migration as it's unlikely after this point. Always go to a qualified and experienced practitioner for any...
