11 months post-op, I'm unhappy with my results but my surgeon says they look ‘fine’ —what do you think? (Photos)

Dear myboobjourneyukk,Breast revision surgery is the most difficult plastic surgery procedure performed. Botched breast surgery alters normal tissue planes and laxity, the ability of breasts to heal properly, and leaves scar tissue that dramatically affects the level of difficulty of the corrective surgery.Many patients come in to correct poor outcomes from their initial surgeries. The most common problems are due to implant malposition, bottoming out of the implant, poor scarring, and incorrect implant size.While the type of revision required will depend on the result of the previous surgery and the desired result of the patient, some revisions involve extensive pocket repair that may or may not need specialized external bras.If you are considering breast surgery revision, you should speak with a board certified plastic surgeon and have yourself properly assessed. Thank you for your question. You do appear to have some asymmetry of the breasts. I would recommend you try again to discuss your concerns with your surgeon. If not getting anywhere I would recommend you consider a second opinion from another board certified plastic surgeon in your area.

You definitely have some asymmetry in your breasts.  It is always difficult to make comments without seeing preoperative photos.  I suspect that you had a high fold on the right and significant pre operative shape asymmetry.  If this is the case perfect symmetry is an unrealistic goal.  Discuss your concerns again with your surgeon and seek a second opinion with an experienced board certified surgeon if you still have concerns.
