Hair Transplant and Erectile Dysfunction Meds?

Good question.Are you thinking about having more sex even before a hair transplant surgery?Erectile dysfunction drugs such as Cialis or Viagra will not affect your transplanted hairs.

There are no contraindications to using these medications. In fact, an increasing amount of scientific research suggests these medications may actually improve wound healing. 

I generally advise my patients to refrain from sexual activity for 5 to 7 days after their hair transplant surgery. 

 

Yes these drugs are fine to take if you need them after a hair transplant. There is nothing about the hair transplant that will negatively impact your penile performance. 

There should be no contraindications to using the medications you described before or after a hair transplant.
