I would like to laser some of my transplanted hair so that I can return to my natural hairline because my current hairline is too low. Is this possible? Would fraxel resurfacing help the skin to return to normal? Can anyone suggest a doctor who has done of does this type of work? Thanks
Answer: Wants to laser off transplanted hair I would have to see you first. Lasering and resurfacing your skin is generally not a good idea if it is in a visible place

Answer: Laser removal of transplanted hair
I have had two patients who had successfull laser removal of transplanted hair. The work was done by clinics familiar with routine laser hair removal and no special experience or familiarity with hair transplants. The first patient had old fashioned hair plugs from the 70's and needed some resurfacing for scarring. The second patient had modern follicular unit transplants that left no appreciable skin scarring. Remember that the transplanted hairs will not one back after laser removal and you will have a net loss of your permanent donor hair source.
