I had liposuction in inner thighs to have it transferred to my butt. Its been 6 months and my inner thighs above the knee about halfway up to my groin is still very sore. Today I noticed & felt a very sore marble sized ball there... is this normal to be 6 months post op ? It really scares me. Its not bruised or swollen anymore. Just painful. Some days are worse than others but it never goes away completely. Its always there. Especially when I touch the area. Also I had regular lipo...

Are you sure your liposuction was in assisted by a laser or ultrasound. Seldom does conventional negative pressure liposuction create pain for more than a few days. The hard lump could be fat necrosis which is very unusual with conventional liposuction.

It is not unusual to have some "lumps" after liposuction but they are usually transient. You may have a segment of fat that has developed a hardening (sometimes referred to as necrosis). It is also possible that a vein could have been injured and as a result you may have a spot of phlebitis or a lymphatic vessel could have developed a lymphocele. Please visit with your doctor and have this evaluated further.
