Can I get my ear pierced if I have keloids on my chest?

With a history of keloid scars, there is certainly a chance of your ear piercing forming a keloid scar; however, there is also a chance that it will not. I recommend following up with a plastic surgeon if you notice the piercing start to keloid to begin scar treatment.

There are certain areas of the body that are more prone to problematic scarring.
