Hello, I am a 20 year old male and would like to get a professional opinion as to potential reasons why my nipples are of different shapes/sizes. Additionally, I would like to know the extent of my Gynecomastia, and whether it appears to be mostly fat or gland based; the "hard pucks" under my nipples are very small. With exercise, can the larger nipple's prominence decrease? I try to not be self conscious about it, but it is prominent. Can weight loss help significantly? Thank you very much

Answer: Nipple Asymmetry and Gynecomastia Concerns?
Thank you for the question and pictures. Despite your good quality pictures, nothing will replace in-person examination to determine whether your chest wall "fullness" is related to breast or adipose tissue. This distinction is important when it comes to determining the appropriate operation to achieve your goals. Lipomastia can be treated with liposuction surgery whereas gynecomastia usually requires direct excision of breast tissue and/or liposuction surgery.
If the lenghth/size of the nipple is concerning, nipple reduction surgery is an option to consider.

Best wishes.

Answer: Gynecomastia Concerns
Gynecomastia is characterized by enlarged breast tissue and affects an astonishing 40 to 60% of men. Fortunately, the condition is easily reversed with liposuction just by making a small incision under the nipple. It is now possible to reduce the size of the breast using virtually scarless technique. Through a small incision around the nipple Liposuction with ultrasound and fine laser beams liquefy the fat and glandular tissue recontouring the breastaround the areola and from the sides and bottom of the breasts. Because liposuction stimulates the skin to tighten, a smooth contour after fat is removed is possible.
