I am so sorry to hear about your experience. Clearly this is very unusual. I suspect that your parotid duct or gland was injured during surgery. The incision is actually placed very near the opening of the duct but I've never seen or heard of this type of injury. What is likely happening is that your saliva gland is expressing saliva into your wound as opposed to through the duct into your mouth. Return to your surgeon immediately as you shouldn't have to manage this on your own. On occasion Botox can let the gland rest and the duct heal.
