Im 171 pounds. U want to have slimmer face. Im planning to do buccal fat removal plus chin filler to achieve the slimmer face. So what do you think?

Chubby cheeks are commonly present in patients with normal weight. Chubby cheeks are usually resistant to decrease in size with diet or exercise. Patient with chubby cheeks that would like to have a more structure to their face could benefit from buccal fat removal.
Buccal fat removal is the plastic surgery procedure that removes the fullness of the anterior lower cheeks ( chubby cheeks) to achieve a more chiseled V-shaped face. The video bellow helps to understand if you are a candidate for buccal fat removal.

Thanks for sharing. I find buccal fat pad reduction to be a great procedure in the properly selected patient. Fullness in the lower cheeks aka "chipmunk cheeks" or "baby face" can be treated this way. Liposuction or skin tightening technologies will not be the right choice when buccal fullness is apparent. The buccal fat pad sits deeper in the lower cheek area under muscle. This is different from skin fat that can be liposuctioned. Proper diagnosis is important to understand how and when to treat. Also, this fat pad may get smaller when we are elderly possibly giving a hollow look in this area. Performed properly in the right patient buccal fat reduction is easily performed and gives a slimmer lower face that is difficult to achiever otherwise. Careful selection and counseling are key. In my opinion you would benefit from buccal fat pad reduction. Results evolve nicely over a period of weeks to months. Please talk to an board certified surgeon experienced in buccal fat reduction to see if you are a candidate.

Removing the buccal fat pad using an incision placed inside your cheek will slim your face.  I'm not sure that using a chin filler would contribute to a slimmer face.

There are a few options that can help slim the face.  Buccal fat is a good option to slim full cheeks but you may need some slimming of the jaws and tightening of the skin as well to achieve an overall slimmed appearance.  Please consult with a board certified specialist in the face who can help you achieve the results you seek. 3-dimensional computer imaging can help you visualize what you may look like afterwards and serve as an important communication tool with your surgeon.
