Did one cigarette ruin my BBL surgery? (Photos)

Question

I know it's terrible and I know that smoking is going to make my fat disappear. Me and my partner decided to split I got stressed out and smoked ONE cigarette last night and ran the rest of the pack under water. I'm now so scared I ruined my body and am freaking myself out it was such a stupid mistake. How much trouble am I in?

Thank you for your question. It is highly recommended to not smoke before and after surgery to avoid complications. One cigarette might not do any harm but if you continue to smoke you will be more likely to form blood cloths in your veins, increase your risk of infection among other things. Best is to follow your surgeon's instructions. Good luck!

I tell my patients not to smoke 1 week before surgery.  PRE & POST-OP SMOKING can cause serious and Life Threatening Complications.
