I have capsular contracture. Do I have to have my implants removed?

Been to visit a surgeon today about my right breast it ad capsule contract. What question I have is it medical reasons to have this done our not . because this surgeon whom I seen said it's not medical . OK then why can't I leave them in .I don't want them out.Please help Thank you
