Hello, thanks for your question. Unfortunately without photos I am not able to give you a bespoke and specific answer of your concern. When it comes to choosing a dermal filler for the under-eye area, in my clinical practice, I have several options available, including Volbella, Restylane, Volite, and Teosyal Puresense Redensity 2. Each of these products has its own unique characteristics and may be more suitable for certain patients depending on their individual needs and goals.I give you some examples: - Volbella is a newer product from Juvederm / Allergan that was specifically designed for use in the lips and around the mouth. However, it can also be used in the under-eye area to treat fine lines and wrinkles. Volbella has a smaller particle size than other HA fillers, which allows it to create a more natural-looking result with less swelling and bruising. Additionally, it has a lower concentration of HA, which makes it a good option for those with thin or delicate skin.- Volite is another new filler from Juvederm/Allergan that is designed to improve skin quality and hydration. It contains a low concentration of HA and a variety of other ingredients, such as amino acids and antioxidants, that help to improve skin texture, tone, and elasticity. While Volite is not specifically designed for use in the under-eye area, it can be used off-label to treat fine lines and wrinkles.- Restylane is one of the most widely used HA fillers on the market and has a long track record of safety and efficacy. It is formulated with a slightly larger particle size than Volbella, which makes it a better choice for treating deeper lines and wrinkles. Restylane also has a higher concentration of HA, which makes it more suitable for those with thicker or more resilient skin.On of my favorite product under the eyes is Teosyal Puresense Redensity 2. This filler is specifically designed for use in the under-eye area. It contains a mix of low and high molecular weight HA, as well as amino acids, antioxidants, and vitamins, that help to improve skin quality and reduce the appearance of dark circles and fine lines. Teosyal Puresense Redensity 2 is often considered a good option for those with thin or delicate skin.Ultimately, the choice between these fillers will depend on your individual needs and goals. If you are looking to treat fine lines and wrinkles in the under-eye area and have thin or delicate skin, Volbella or Teosyal Puresense Redensity 2 may be good options for you. If you have deeper lines or thicker skin, Restylane may be more effective. Volite may be a good option for those looking to improve overall skin quality and hydration. It's important to consult with a qualified doctor experienced in aesthetic medicine and facial treatment who can assess your individual needs and recommend the best course of treatment for you.Best Wishes,Dr Giuseppe Fiore
Hello, and thank you for your question. Both fillers are great options for under eye treatment, however, it may depend on the deficit as well as the skin type of the patient being treated. I often use Restylane for tear trough filler, but am not opposed to Volbella. I would recommend seeing a provider who uses both products and which one he/she would suggest to best suit your needs and concerns!
For unique cases where a variety of modalities could be used to treat the condition, I would suggest an in person or virtual consultation to develop a custom and effective treatment plan. It is difficult to precisely define the best option without collecting the same information. I suggest reaching out to an expert for a consultation with surgical and non-surgical methods to get a comprehensive option. Best, Dr. Emer.
Hello !The choice between Volbella and Restylane for under eye filler depends on several factors, including the individual's specific needs, skin type, and personal preferences. Both fillers are effective for adding volume and reducing the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines in the under eye area.Volbella is a hyaluronic acid filler that is designed to be very smooth and subtle, making it ideal for the delicate under eye area. It is formulated with Vycross technology, which helps it to last longer than some other hyaluronic acid fillers. The smooth texture and long-lasting results make Volbella a popular choice for patients who want to achieve a natural-looking result.Restylane is also a hyaluronic acid filler that can be used for under eye rejuvenation. It has a slightly thicker consistency than Volbella, which can make it a good choice for patients with more severe under eye hollows or deeper wrinkles. Restylane is also formulated with lidocaine, which can help to minimize discomfort during the injection process.Ultimately, the decision between Volbella and Restylane will depend on the individual's unique needs and preferences. It is important to consult with a qualified and experienced injector who can help you to choose the filler that will best meet your specific goals and achieve the most natural-looking results.I hope this helps, best of luck !
The correct filler depends on the patient need as well as injector preference. Restylane gives great results for the under eye, while Volbella gives a natural result for the lips. However the decision for the correct filler is made after a discussion with the patient and an evaluation of the area to be treated.
Each product is formulated a little differently, so you may not experience the same reaction if you return to the Volbella filler. Be sure to discuss your previous experience with your injector.
Hello, and thank you for your question. Filler can take years to dissolve or semi-disappear, especially if product is being placed on top of product. You could see if a provider could spot dissolve this area, but even if spot treated, the dissolving agent could still spread elsewhere to...
With your injections of Volbella being in February, any signs of vascular occlusion would occur within a few to several day time period. I doubt that this is filler related, but more likely to be tiny milia associated with acne breakouts. I hope this resolved without incident for you.
