Is it possible to reduce the height of my chin after a genioplasty? (photos)

I had a genioplasty and my chin looks way too long vertically than it was before i had a 10 mm forward genioplasty but he told me before the surgery that he would only bring it 6 to 7 mm i don’t know what to do now ii told him why hé didn’t made a vertical decrease and then he told me it would be unesthetical . My face is very narrow and long are there any solution to this

You have a vertical facial growth pattern with a steep slope to the lower jaw and a narrow lower jaw. The  answer is to augment the jawline behind the chin and increase the 'ramal' height. This will alter the 'long face' appearance and define a good jawline
