I have had a hard white growth on my septum for as long as I can remember. A doctor once suggested it was possibly from trauma as i was kicked in the face as a kid. I do also have an autoimmune condition not that it's related. I went to two difderent ENTs who gave me completelly different recs. The first said she could cut and cauterize in the office but there was a possibility she would punch through the septum. The hope was skin would grow over it. The second Dr. suggested doing a flap under anesthesia but no further info. It does split around it and bleed and scab over. So it's painful at times and very noticible. I'm not sure which rout to take for removal with the least comlications or looking or feeling awful. I don't even know what the cyst really is. Any suggestions would be alpreciated. Also should i have ENT do it or some other profession.
