Head injury following botox. Should I be concerned? (Photo)

Soft tissue trauma to a forehead that has been recently treated with Botox ( within a week) should not affect or be affected by the fact the forehead was treated with Botox.Botox smoothes /decreased the wrinkles of the forehead by decreasing the activity of the forehead muscle.Trauma to the forehead may result in localized soft tissue swelling ( "bumps) or blood  accumulation if bruise is present.Patient with recent trauma to the forehead and soft tissue swelling should consult and undergo physical examination with either their primary care physician or their Botox injector doctor to determine best next treatment to follow.

Very sorry you hurt yourself, however this should not effect your Botox treatment.If you should experience any lingering effects of the injury seek, medical attention etc...

The injury to your forehead from the bump to your cabinet should not affect the results of your Botox treatment.  If you are having any problems after the injury, you should seek medical attention though.  

     The head injury should not affect the Botox in any fashion.  The swelling of the injured site may alter the look of the forehead (temporary or permanent) but it will not displace the Botox

The bump on the he'd should not impact your botox treatment but if concerned, the bump should be evaluated by your doctor.  

The trauma to your forehead will not affect your Botox treatment.  Having had Botox treatment will not cause the bump to be larger than usual so you should consider seeing your general practitioner for assessment of the trauma.

Looks like you hit your head pretty hard! Do not worry about your botox though, it will not be affected by the trauma as it is already at maximal effect after a week.  If your head bump doesnt resolve soon, you may want to get that evaluated though. Good luck!Dr. Quenby Erickson

Hi and sorry about that.  Your injury won't affect your Botox, so don't worry.However, I'd consider showing that injury to your PCP, etc. to make sure nothing serious is going on - just as a precaution.  I could just be soft tissue swelling (edema) or a hematoma but I can't tell here and you should have someone examine it.
