Is there any way I can have high profile implants after mastectomy so as not to look flat? (photo)

Related to my previous posts about being unhappy with my mentor implants after mastectomy due to flatness I. Is there any way I can have high profile implants after mastectomy so as not to look flat , BUT WITHOUT looking like I have Two coconuts on my chest? Why can't I have breast fullness and look natural? I am so disenchanted I am 5'3and1/2 "and about 120lbs so I am considered thin by my doctors. Fullness with a natural appearance is what I need and want. I have 330cc medium height moderate plus mentor implants that are anatomical.

Generally speaking, you have very reasonable results from your reconstruction.That being said, let me see if I can help you some. If the implants you have in are mentor anatomical 330cc implants, then the dimensions of that implant are 12.0 cm wide and 11.3 cm high with 5.1 cm of projection. Your concern is "looking flat," which tells me that you want more projection. If you want to stick with the anatomical shaped implants, then you may want to switch to an implant with more projection but with similar dimensions. For example, if you are pleased with the width and height of your current implant, switching to a "moderate height, extra full projection" anatomical implant from Allergan would make your dimensions 12.0 cm wide, 11.1 cm high, with 5.7 cm of projection (325cc), effectively giving you another 0.6 cm of projection. While this may not seem like much, it may be enough to give you what you are looking for. If you are interested in changing to a smooth round implant, you can consider an ultra high profile implant like the Style 45 Allergan implant which is 11.9 cm wide with 5.7 cm in projection (500cc). Changing to a round implant will obviously increase the volume size of the implant (from 330cc to 500cc in this case).My best advice would be to return to your surgeon who did your reconstruction or to you local board certified plastic surgeon and discuss your concerns and your desires. They should be able to review with you the implant options and perhaps provide you the information you need to make an informed decision.Hope this helps. Best wishes to you.P.S. I don't see any reason why you cannot have high(higher) profile implants as long as you have enough skin to allow for the additional projection, and you have enough soft tissue support for the additonal implant mass(Strattice/Seri).However,  you may want to consider fat grafting over your present reconstruction to achieve the additional projection you desire as well as more natural contour and softness.Hope this helps.
