Question

Is it possible to just reduce tip without breaking the nose bone? I don’t mind a slight bump towards the top, and I think the tip has always been the biggest issue. I also want to get the surgery done awake if possible and without anesthesia only numbing and wondering if this is possible? TIA

Yes, it's possible to perform tipplasty under local anesthesia. However, I personally perform it under general anesthesia, as I can perform much finer surgical maneuvers on the tip cartilage under general anesthesia. Of course, there are also surgeons who perform tipplasty under local anesthesia. You're lucky; your nasal cartilage structure and nasal soft tissue envelope quality are very good, so your chances of having a smooth operation are very high. Best wishes.
