Question

I had fat transfer to butt with frezee fat that was stored for 8 months. My butt feels saggy and when I sit the fat moves around. The butt is not firm. Is there any way to fix this? Thank you

Thank you for your question. Frozen fat has not been shown to survive well. So, if your surgeon injected the fat that was frozen before for 8 months, you are experiencing liquefied fat. Fat does not move around when transplanted, but liquid does. You might benefit from an ultrasound to check these areas for you. If indeed you have liquefied fat in the buttocks, that should be drained. Talk to your surgeon about your concerns. Good luck.

Ideal candidates are at a stable weight,  in good health , and have excess fat in some parts of the body and too little in other regions.  Gaining weight before the procedure is to no advantage and when you lose weight again the fat cells will shrink just like the donor site fat cells.  Typically, the transferred fat results in a significant increase in volume of the body site being treated.

It is illegal to freeze fat and then transfer it to your buttocks with some exceptions when the fat is stored in the same facility? Why would you not put the fat back in at the same time. Please provide some more info and photos for a more accurate advice.
