Bridge of nose larger 3 years post rhinoplasty (Photo)

Question

I got my rhinoplasty back in 2021 to remove a small bump on the side of my nose. The rhinoplasty was closed with the only thing being fixed the small bump on my nose. 1 year post op my surgeon went back into my nose in office to rasp down a small callous that popped up during recovery. It has been over 3 years now since my surgery and I feel that looking straight on at my nose it has progressively gotten wider? Possibly swollen. My surgeon has agreed with me and believe it may be calluses?

If you had rasping of your bridge one year post-surgery without osteotomies, that could be a reason to cause a widened nasal appearance. Additionally, you appear to have a slightly crooked nasal appearance in the upper 1/3 of your nose. Issues like this maybe remediated with well performed osteotomies. I hope this helps. As far as I can see from your photos ,there are bumps on your nose and a droopy nose tip. If you can send photos in a good light from the side profile, we can make a better evaluation. For get rid of this image I recommend you revision rhinoplasty.
It would be better face to face consultation.

I'm sorry to hear what you are experiencing. It is possible that new bone formation is causing the issue. Unfortunately, it looks like surgery is the only solution that I can see given the very helpful pictures you kindly provided. Given that it's been 3 years, intervention at this point is very reasonable. Most true calluses resolve in weeks to a few months.

I think most people would agree with you that your nose has changed.
If it bothers you enough to have another operation, then you can have your surgeon do another revision.
Bone Is dynamic and is a constantly being remodeled. 
Still what you describe is somewhat atypical.
