Im considering a breast reduction surgery I am about 4’9” and have 36 B cup my breasts feel too big for my chest size and I was wondering if a doctor would consider a breast reduction surgery for me I don’t smoke or drink and don’t have diabetes or anything pre health existing restrictions.
Answer: Can a B cup be too large? Yes, this is technically possible. If you are seriously considering pursuing this procedure be sure to have a long discussion with your surgeon regarding your body image. In the absence of other factors, it is rare that someone would consider a B cup to be aesthetically too large or disproportionate.

Answer: Breast reduction Thanks for your question! Your breasts can absolutely be reduced. It is highly unlikely that insurance would cover the procedure because many have breast tissue requirements, but you always have the option to pay out of pocket. Be sure to consult with a board-certified plastic surgeon. Good luck!

Answer: Although I am a B cup could I go down to an A cup with a breast reduction surgery? A breast reduction performed by liposuction can reduce the size of the breast a moderate amount depending upon the amount of fat, but the procedure will not lift the breasts. If you want a substantial reduction or desire a lift as well, then breast reduction by the conventional surgical methods is best.

Answer: Liposuction or areola incision Unfortunately, you have not provided photographs. However, it is possible do liposuction to remove 1 cup size or use an incision around the areola. The anchor or lollipop incision will leave vertical scars, which will be highly visible for someone was is a B cup. Best Wishes, Gary Horndeski, M.D.

Answer: Breast reduction Dear pluto 44, breast reduction is best suited for women who wish to decrease the size of their breasts. While there are different techniques used to perform this surgery, I prefer the vertical incision (lollipop pattern) breast reduction technique instead of the anchor scar pattern, which reduces more noticeable scarring than usual. I also use a SAFE liposuction technique to reduce additional fat around the stubborn axilla area and bra line. This way, my patients are achieving beautiful results with minimal incisions which reduces downtime and delivers an overall better breast shape long term.If you are considering breast reduction surgery, you should consult with a board certified plastic surgeon to discuss your options and make sure your surgeon understands your goals. Only after a thorough examination you will get more information and recommendations.
