For best results on all colors of tattoo removal I use the brand new Pico Way by Syneron-Candela. With its new picosecond technology, it is faster, safer and patients have less downtime. Multiple sessions are still required.Safe for all skin types and tattoo colors it is quick, safe and effective.Hope this helps. Good luck.
this likely will take NUMEROUS treatments for improvement and will need a combination of wavelengths. There is nothing that will remove this quickly regardless of the technology. Please see an expert in tattoo removal. Best, Dr. Emer.
Thank you for your question! With Cutera Enlighten you will need many treatments. This is a large size tattoo and color red is quite difficult to treat. With this tattoo Pico laser would do a great job. Using PIcosure and Piqo4 would yield you the best results since you need wavelengths for black and red ink. With Pico lasers it would be gone in fewer number of treatments and would minimize the risk for side effects. With your skin condition there is increased chance of scarring. Make an appointment with certified and experienced provider to get examined and get more detailed opinion regarding your options. Best of look!

This will be very difficult to treat. The Enlighten is a good choice because it is 1064 and 532, the wavelengths needed for the blacks and reds. I would say at least 10 treatments. It will also be fairly costly because of the large surface area. Keloids are a risk with this, it you get keloids. My guess is that you get hypertrophic scars from acne, not keloids. I prefer the Piqo4 laser because it has higher power and larger spot sizes. This will give faster and more effective treatments.
Laser tattoo removal requires pairing of the laser output to the wavelength of light the color ink is absorbing. The kirby analysis of your tattoo came out to at least 12 sessions. The major determinant of a successful removal is the sensitivity of the ink to a laser and we can't tell that until the process has begun. Also there is no measure as to how your immune system will handle the ink removal and if all of the ink will be removed . In your case with a massive ink load the risk of residual ink is higher. It is truly impossible to say with 100% certainty how many treatments it will require. The inks you have look black red and blue. There is a lot of misinformation regarding laser tattoo removal one being a picosecond laser will cut the removal time in half. The overall treatment numbers using picos and standard q switched is not vastly different and in fact it was determined pico in the early stages of removal are not as effective thus it is recommended that the first 4-6 treatments be performed using the Q switched then when the tattoo is faded add the pico. That said the enlighten being a 1064 and 532 wavelength system will be the wavelengths you need for your specific tattoo. The blues may be resistant. I would start with that system due to it has the proper wavelengths for your needs.
Thank you for your question! The good news is that this does not look like hyperpigmentation. This seems like you temporarily effect of the laser or shading from the ink. This should go away. You need proper topical medications and continue with your laser. If it doesn’t go away by itself, th...
