Hello, I have a chicken pox like scar for years. tried microneedling, laser, plexr and the list goes on. the subcision did help but I want to ask if there is a chance to get a scar that is not so visible. Maybe an excision or a punch excision would work? It’s a very white spot that is sometimes visible and that’s what bothers me the most. How much would a scar from excision look like?

These spots can be improved with a combination of Cosmelan, lasers, Aerolase, microneedling(RF/)/prp, skin lightening, peels, and skin care. Sun protection is essential. I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a scarring expert. Best, Dr. Emer
