28 years old, male, what kind of Norwood can I expect to be and is FUE the right choice? (photos)

Hello 28 y male. blonde/red hair. Hairless min. 5 years. My father has some hair left on top, is likely a Norwood 5 but isn't completely bald. Have never been on any drugs against hair loss besides coffein shampoo. Since hair in the front is still pretty dense, is a hair transplant too earl?yWill it cause them to fall out too and I would have to do a second ht? How many grafts would I need? Is the donor area good or bad? Max. Grafts ? Should I wait till the hair loss is more obvious ?

Hair transplants or the Mayer Flap procedure? You need to plan for the future which will be substantially more hair loss. The Mayer flap procedure will give you the best density possible, NO texture change as occurs with transplants, Immediate hair inches long and no waiting for the hair to grow and have to have multiple surgeries for the area, etc.  I invented this procedure 46 years ago and have done more than a thousand. Compare before you start

The FUE is a good solution for your baldness treatement. I estimate 3000-3300 grafts for the first session. The hair quality is fine. You might need a second hair transplant in the future. 
Fnasteride or minoxidil is recommended for 6 months before proceeding the hair transplant.

Currently you are a Norwood 4. The donor region is good quality. Best to reduce rate of hair loss with medications. You are a good candidate for hair transplant.

Clearly you now have a Class 3 pattern of balding. I suspect your hair is fine in character. You should consider finasteride and minoxidil as your chance at reversing this level of balding at your age is good.  Work out a Personalized Master Plan with a good doctor near you and follow that plan for your lifetime balding prospects
